Can I connect the B500 directly to my home's existing main panel to run house loads?
No, an EP800 or EP900 is needed for the B500 to work. We suggest using a sub panel for essential loads.
Why do I need a BLUETTI sub panel?For troubleshooting and maintenance. The sub panel has a manual switch that allows you to switch to the generator side for daily use, and the grid side when malfunctions.
In case of an outage, will the system kick in automatically?Yes. When the power grid fails, the energy storage system provides an uninterrupted power to the BACKUP loads. When the grid is restored, the GRID loads resume without manual intervention.
Does BLUETTI offer product liability insurance for its products?

Can I connect a third-party inverter with B500 batteries?No. The B500 expansion battery is exclusively designed for the EP800 and EP900.

Can I install the energy storage system by myself?
